Passport processing at SM Baguio City

Because of a blessing that came my way yesterday i am now at SM Baguio City falling in line to apply for my passport at the Deparment of Foreign Affairs office. I got out of our house at 4:50am and boy it was really dark. Good thing i was able to ride a taxi immediately.

Tip 1: Go where the people are - en route to SM i saw a lot of people sitting at the banco de oro area fronting the session road roundabout and this made me think but going against better judgement i disembarked at the SM area. This was a mistake on my part as i was told by the guard that i am suppose to go to the Banco De Oro area and enlist my name.

Tip 2: Look for the person holding the list- there is no line at the Banco de oro area so immediately look for the person holding the list. Now this paper is being passed around and the paper was only provided by the guard and not dfa.

Tip 3: Limited Slots - passport processing is limited i was told that for today the DFA office will process only 150 applicants for the day so if you are beyond that number it would be best to try the next day or you can take your chances because some days they are processing 200 applicants i hope DFA would set the limit though so that people would not wait for hours taking chances.

Tip 4: Eat breakfast - imagine coming in at 4am or 3am and waiting till the mall opens at 10am you will really go hungry, eat your breakfast or at least bring food that would nourish you for the day.

Tip 5 : Do not go alone - it would be to your advantage if you go process your passport with someone, so that they would hold your line for you, purchase necessities among others. Just to make your life a lot more convenient.

Well thats it for now i will post more tips uabout passport processing at DFA in SM City Baguio later...as of now it is already 7:28am and i have to wait till 10am
